Local Police

The municipal police is made up of 3 full-time officers, a secretary and 15 additional roadside surveillance officers during the winter season.
Its functions include ensuring the smooth flow of traffic and parking management, preservation of the peace for holidaymakers, carrying out night patrols to ensure good order throughout the resort (late night noise, late closure of night establishments, respect for road rules, public drunkenness etc.) and also include planning checks, funeral processions, speed traps and roaming dogs.
