The Vanoise National Park and the Plan de Tueda nature reserve

The Vanoise National Park, France’s first national park, was created in 1963 and covers 1,250 km² between the high valleys of the Maurienne and Tarentaise regions.

Its mission is to protect nature, landscapes, the diversity of plant and animal species and the region’s cultural heritage.

The Plan de Tueda nature reserve, covering 1,100 hectares, is located at the entrance to the Park and offers an exceptional setting for a variety of activities, including hiking, cross-country skiing, snowshoeing and ski touring.

You can also discover the reserve’s flora and fauna, including chamois, ibex, deer, birds of prey and frogs.

In a nutshell: the Plan de Tueda nature reserve is a great place for nature and mountain lovers.

The Col de la Loze

The Col de la Loze is renowned as one of the most beautiful passes in France, attracting mainly intrepid cyclists. With a gradient in excess of 20%, it is an exciting challenge to tackle by bike. The Tour de France honoured it with its presence in 2020 and again in July 2023.

In winter, this pass becomes the focal point for the ski descent to Courchevel, and also offers privileged access to the Altaï Dragon piste, an unforgettable experience for the youngest slide fans.

The Altiport

It’s here, in the heart of winter, that you can indulge in the joys of skiing and enjoy an enchanting stay in one of the most beautiful resorts in the Alps. Surrounded by a majestic forest of fir trees, the Altiport offers direct access to the downhill and cross-country ski runs.

In summer, the atmosphere changes on the heights of Méribel. It’s a great time to get away from it all amongst the trees, or to perfect your swing on the golf course with its beautiful panoramic views.

The flying club

Located at the heart of the Méribel Altiport, the flying club is a must for all aviation enthusiasts. It’s also an invitation to discover the resort from a whole new angle, by taking to the skies and admiring the Alpine scenery from a completely different perspective.

If you’re looking for a unique experience, then the flying club is the place to go for an unforgettable aerial adventure in Méribel.
